“ I bought this generator from you in 2018. only had to use it for about 10 hours since then, until the hurricane hit last week. we sat on the eyewall for 3 hours with winds in excess of 125 mph. our power went off during that time and I had to wait for the wind to subside some before I could go outside and turn it on. I had put it outside earlier and covered it so it was all hooked up. it started right up and powered us for 6 full days. I shut it down every morning to let it cool and check the intake and oil. it took about 2 ounces each day. When the power came back I rolled it back into the garage, cleaned it up, changed the oil and it is ready for the next time. It did everything I had hoped it would. Two of my neighbors asked me where I got it. I gave them the web address. The only issue I had was a light film of oil on the frame. I think the seal in the oil filler cap is not sealing correctly. Needless to say I am very happy with the machine. It kept us safe during the worst possible conditions.”

“ Jared: I hope all is well with you and your family and y’all are well and safe. I hope your business hasn’t suffered terribly. You may not remember, but I purchased a Patriot from you last December. I finally got the permanent lpg tank and interlock/transfer switch completed and everything works great. I have a 2 and 3 ton A/C unit and it will easily start and run both of them at the same time. I tested the generator with an estimated 14 kw continuous load and it handled it fine. Later that same day, we had a lightning strike and were without power for about 6 hours. I rolled the Patriot back out and in 5 minutes we were cooking dinner on the electric stove with A/C while watching TV over the Internet, Patriot never missed a beat. I realize this would probably have increased the cost, but my only complaint, and it’s minor, is the lack of engine idle for a cool down period. I went to your website to leave a review, but I see you no longer carry the Kohler engine generators. Hopefully, this is due to Covid and you will be able to resume carrying them in the future. I’ve already given your website to someone who bought a gasoline generator and wishes he had purchased an lpg one. One of my wife’s coworker’s husband purchased a no name China Star from one of the big boxes and it ruined his refrigerator. When we have another major outage, and we will, friends and neighbors will want to know how we are surviving so well. I will certainly send them your way. “ My Last comunity i lived in had natural gas so i had a 12kw generator... this ran my 3 ton ac and the whole house... Our new community would have let us get a generator but i was limited to the amount of propane i could use.. plus they wanted 3 k just to hook up the tanks... First i have experience in the home improvement field. with a background in electric... I was impressed with smart generators as you have to look at everything.. you want a good generator or you won't get clean electric.. Yes that matters.. i was not living in florida for irma as we came right after that.. i was on long island for sandy but somehow ended up in a small pocket of not losing electric... After irma the damage to the homes was not a terrible issue as most are build to withstand a cat 3... it was 11 days with no power in a 110 degree house.. with that said you want a generator that is quality as you are asking it to run 24/7 .. i am a bit of a safety nut but i did buy a explosion proof cabinet that will hold 120 gallons of fuel. i keep 45 on hand with stabilizer and will get more if a storm is coming.. omn of my cans has a pump so the two cars can be used for gas very easily as i can siphon them out.. i was impressed with the support from Smart generator.. i will not go into the types but every question i had they would contact the generator company... with in hours i had questions answered... They have no problem helping you out after the sale... did i pay more ? Yes i paid for a quality unit.. a Honda engine with a top of the line alternator that is for professional use and will last many years.. i will post more when i am up and running but again they have been there to answer my questions... i know i am not going to run my whole house as everything is electric but i will run my 3 ton ac my fridge and micro. and lights... they have choices of natural gas units if you have that.. it is a lot cheaper as i paid 13 k todo a stand by at my other home. this house would have been 18k... yes i got the storage cabinet but that is personal choice. i highly recommend this company.”

I turned on most of the lights, then turned the heat up. The generator barely noticed the hvac kicking in. With the unit placed 30' from the house, the sound is not intrusive whatsoever. The NG burns so clean, that I cannot smell the exhaust even when standing next to it.
