Z-Pipe Secondary Exhaust – Heat Control Muffler

These are designed to keep your enclosure Cooler & Cleaner. The Z-Pipe extracts the hottest gases out of the enclosure which keeps your generator cooler and reduces maintenance and fatigue of the acoustic insulation inside the enclosures.

It is a universal fit system – How it works:

Flex pipe size is approximately 2ft long, inside diameter of 1.5in. Attach threaded end of the flexible pipe to the inside flange on enclosure panel, Slip the other end over muffler on equipment (or to ‘box’ style with the supplied adapter you attach to muffler) and secure with clamp or screw. Then simply thread in silencing muffler to outside flange on the back of the enclosure. The muffler is approximately 12in long, which is a glass pack style and will create 0 back pressure. The secondary muffler itself has a 28-decibel reduction in 3rd band frequency and will reduce the TOTAL noise an additional 2-3 dB beyond what the box is rated.

Obviously, every generator or engine is different in design and application, so actual dBA reduction will vary based on equipment and environment in which it is operated. But these work great for keeping the enclosure cool and clean
