I began searching for a generator last year after experiencing two hurricanes and a combined power outage of 18 days in one season’s time. I first looked at whole house standby generators but soon found the quoted prices quite exorbitant and lead times outrages. I had a few criteria that the generator had to meet. It must run on natural gas with no retrofits or conversion kits(no more chasing down gasoline), it must be able to run a 4 ton central AC(wife’s orders), it must be portable, and have a THD of <5%. Then I found Smart Generators LLC and the SG13002 GenRover Plus. After some back and forth with Jared (who is excellent by the way) I went ahead and purchased one through AB3 Group LLC (Brian who also was excellent) as I could also get a one inch natural gas line all in one purchase. Bottom line this generator is a beast. I test ran it hooked up to my house for an hour the other day. It ran my 4 ton AC(which has a hard start installed by manufacturer), two fridges, two tv’s, and lights. Cycling off the AC I could run my microwave or electric range, or washer/dryer independently. It’s a great generator and more importantly the wife is happy.

I needed to use our GenRover Plus generator for the first time and wanted to let you know she worked like a dream. We ran the whole house even threw an extension over to my neighbor. Brilliant generator worth every penny. Thank you Jared
