We bought the generator some time ago, but had never completed the work on the house to actually attempt to hook it up and run the unit. We will be doing so in the next few weeks. I would appreciate knowing that you are available as a resource, should we encounter any difficulty in getting it running properly (on Natural Gas).

    Best regards,
    -Brian T.

“I tested it a month ago and it started up like a trooper. We were in a panic to get it before a storm was to arrive. Thankfully it arrived on time but the power cable wasn’t there because it came from a different supplier and they didn’t deliver it, so I called Jared and he expedited it for me the next day. I appreciated his efforts since the hurricane was coming which was a frightening experience. My experience was very good”

“The customer service was awesome. They forgot to send me a part because they were in the middle of moving to another location. They sent me the part the next day. We had a lot of technical questions and the tech guy we spoke with was really helpful. It ended up being easier than I thought it would be to hook it up. We are 2 females in our 50s so we were surprised that we had no issues.”

  6. Dr. John – Tallahassee, FL (verified owner)

“We’re quite satisfied, we hooked it up and it’s working. People who hook up standby generators thought it was the best generator they have ever seen in a portable. They really like it!”

“I’m a doctor and am very busy so I appreciated that my experience was beautiful. You provided what I wanted. It’s a very good generator thank you.”

I’m very satisfied with this generator I connected it to the electric and it operates the whole house including the stove and my central AC unit.

“Pictures just don’t do this generator justice, this thing is a monster. Absolutely over the top quality machine. Looking forward to getting it hooked up and running.”

Finally got the natural gas and electrical connections finished. Fired up, warmed up, put the house on line. Wired straight to my main panel with a 50amp breaker and interlock. Every circuit in my house was energized including a 3 ton central AC. Measuring the amp draw and listening to the Motorhead ( no sign of “bogging” down), I feel confident I can also put the other 2-1/2 ton unit on line.
A very impressive piece of equipment. Great people to deal with. They know their product.

Really like the generator. Shopped around for a dual fuel NG/ Propane for awhile. Found cheaper, but not the quality of this one, which makes all the difference. It’s not China crap! Have had it about a year, and finally got the electrical hooked up to try it out. Nice product, quality made, and dependable.

I have always had a backup generator to run the essentials needed in case of a power outage. After a lot of research, reading reviews and watching YouTube videos on portable propane generators with prices ranging from $1500 to $6000 and permanent whole house generators costing $$$$$. I decided on March 17, 2022 to purchase a Honda Motorhead 12000/20000 watt duel fuel portable generator and a propane (LPG) high pressure regulator hose dual tank series kit with automatic switchover – 350,000 BTU (both sold by Smart Generators) I then purchased 4 – 100 pound propane tanks. We Live in Englewood Florida and on September 28, 2022 along came Hurricane Ian a CAT 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 155 mph. We lost power about 12 noon. That night about 10 PM with the storm still raging the wind shifted direction and I was able to run up the generator. The generator sat just inside a concrete block out building with an 8 foot garage door which I was able to open and keep the generator out of the elements and provide ventilation. The generator is hard wired to the house about 50 feet away. We were without power for 9.5 days. This generator powered our entire 1850 square foot house, a 3.5 ton AC unit, 2 refrigerators, a 23 CF upright freezer, 50 gallon water heater, W/D, oven, 220 volt microwave, pool pump, all lights/fans, internet and EVERYTHING else. The generator ran 218 hours nonstop. It ran flawlessly, never missed a beat!!! The only shut down time was to change tanks or to change the oil and oil filter. One 100 pound propane tank ran our entire house for 24 hours which may seem costly at $90 per tank to fill but AC, a hot shower and a cold beer is PRICELESS!!!
